CDC: Vaccine Effective Against Dominant Strain EG.5

The current EG.5 variant of COVID-19, also known as Eris, is not a major deviation from the dominant strain. The director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reassures that vaccines scheduled to be updated in September will still provide protection against this variant.
