A new study followed a group of over 82,000 adults and found that those who made exercise a part of their routine were less likely to end up in the hospital. It’s as if exercise acts as an insurance policy for your health, providing protection against a variety of ailments. The study didn’t specify which exercises were most effective, so it’s safe to say that any form of physical activity can do the trick. So put on those sneakers and hit the pavement, the basketball court, or even the dance floor – just move your body! While this study focused on adults over 40, exercise is beneficial for people of all ages.
