Veterans Now Eligible for Free Suicide Crisis Care

Think of it like this: U.S. veterans, who are already eligible for emergency suicidal crisis care, now have an extra layer of support – and it won’t cost them a dime! Starting Tuesday, they can access this care at any VA facility or private facility without worrying about the financial burden. This includes up to 30 days of inpatient or crisis residential care. It’s like giving our heroes a lifeline during their toughest battles. By providing free suicide crisis care, we’re not only acknowledging the immense challenges that veterans face, but we’re also actively working towards preventing tragedy. This move is seemingly a step in the right direction to address mental health issues within the veteran community.
